सोमवार रात 8.12 बजे मणिपुर में भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए. नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी (NCS) के मुताबिक, रिक्टर स्केल पर भूकंप की तीव्रता 5.5 मापी गई. भूकंप का केंद्र मणिपुर में मोइरांग से 15 किलोमीटर दूर पश्चिम में था. असम के गुवाहाटी और कुछ अन्य हिस्सों में भी भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए.

फिलहाल किसी प्रकार के नुकसान की कोई सूचना नहीं है. तीन दिन पहले भी मणिपुर के उरखुल इलाके में रात के 3:26 मिनट पर हल्का भूकंप आया था. इसकी तीव्रता 3.6 आंकी गई थी.
